I have been reading articles and researching the tools at Blogger.com. It will be a bit of a learning process to find what works, but I think it will be a great new tool.
The first use will probably be you posting a topic and students adding comments (like I am doing right now). When students begin adding journal entries, I can show you how to subscribe to their syndications so you will know exactly when they have posted a new journal entry.
We'll talk soon, Mr. B

Hey, mr. B! So did you have to establish a user name and password to post a comment? Could students do that the first time they log on to this site?

I read a article on blogging over the weekend and found a great tool for keeping track of your students blogs! I am going to put together a little instruction sheet for you to get your students started. I'll email you the file so you can edit/modify it to meet your needs. Look for it later in the week.
